Hello
The MONTANA NATIVE AMERICAN CENTER welcomes and invites you to explore our website that is founded by Big Wind "BW" Windy Boy, a member of the Chippewa/Cree; Assiniboine; Hidatsa and Crow Tribes. He has lived in Billings & Yellowstone County the majority of his life. Throughout his travels across the United States, Canada & Overseas, he has experienced many different cultures and ways of life through learning. Big Wind would like to bring what experiences he has from his travels around the world and share them with the community of Yellowstone and the State of Montana through various programs that are offered.
My Story
MONTANA NATIVE AMERICAN CENTER is a visionary establishment by both the late Marva Big Lake-Windy Boy (a member of the Crow and Hidatsa Tribes) and Alvin Windy Boy Jr. (a member of the Chippewa/Cree; Assiniboine; Hidatsa and Crow tribes.) Having lived majority of their lives in the Billings area. They wanted to see a cultural center where everyone both NATIVE AMERICAN & NON-NATIVE AMERICAN can come to meet and share information and culture with everyone, regardless of Race, Ethnicity or Political Beliefs. It is in their memory that this organization is dedicated to achieving their visionary success.
